Making mosaics

How do I make my first mosaic?

Tap the tomato New mosaic button. Choose a number, letter, word or shape, then pick your photos. MosaicMe places them for you. In the editor you can change the layout, the spacing, the corners, the background and the title.

How many photos do I need?

More photos make a richer mosaic. When there are fewer photos than tiles, MosaicMe repeats them and keeps the repeats apart. To change the photos later, open the mosaic and use Change photos.

Can I print my mosaic?

Yes. When you export, choose A5, A4, A3, 8×10, 12×16 or 12×18 inches, or type your own size in inches or centimeters. MosaicMe makes the file at 300 DPI as JPEG, PNG or PDF, ready for any print shop. Printing is free.

How do I make a video?

Open a mosaic and tap Make a video. Pick a style, a size for stories or posts, and a quality. The video is made on your iPhone. It has no music, so you can add your own sound in the app where you share it.

Photos and privacy

Why does MosaicMe ask for access to my photos?

To read the photos you use in a mosaic. You can allow only the photos you select. The people and pets features of Pro need access to your whole library, because they look through it for you.

Does MosaicMe upload my photos?

No. Every mosaic, every video and every face check happens on your iPhone. There is no account, and no server receives your photos. The privacy policy has the details.

My photos are in iCloud. Can I still use them?

Yes. If your iPhone keeps only small versions of your photos (Optimize iPhone Storage), turn on Allow iCloud downloads. You find it when you set up the smart library, and in Settings › Privacy and data. Apple then sends the full photos to your iPhone. MosaicMe never uploads anything.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings › Privacy and data:

  • Delete all mosaics removes your mosaics and the photo copies they keep.
  • Reset people and pet index removes the faces and groups that Pro found.
  • Delete temporary files removes export files that MosaicMe keeps for a short time. It deletes them by itself after a day.
  • Share anonymous usage data turns the usage statistics off.

Deleting the app removes everything it stored. The photos in your library stay as they are.

Do I pay for Pro again?

No. Pro is a one-time purchase. You pay once, and Pro stays unlocked for your Apple Account.

Can my family use Pro?

Yes. Pro works with Family Sharing. If you share purchases with your Apple family group, each member gets Pro on their own iPhone at no extra cost. If Pro does not unlock by itself, they tap Settings › Restore Pro purchase.

How do I get Pro back on a new iPhone?

Sign in with the same Apple Account. Open MosaicMe and go to Settings › Restore Pro purchase. You do not pay again.

How do I ask for a refund?

Apple handles every payment and every refund. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Languages

How do I change the language?

MosaicMe uses the language of your iPhone. To use another one in MosaicMe only, open the iOS Settings app, find MosaicMe (on iOS 18 and later it is under Apps), tap Language and choose one. MosaicMe speaks 38 languages.
